Carpe Noctem from Leer, Germany was formed in October 1997. The formerly spontaneous sessions of Iwein (guitar, vocals) and Galeff (drums) changed into bandlike structures when Troll (guitar) gained in November 97. The common will of expressing our dark minds in form of Carpe Noctem was the basis of our creative impuls..

In winter 1998 we produced our Demo-CD-R "Days of Dark Winter". In march 2003 our debut-CD "Nachtgedacht" was released by NeoKlasSick Productions.

We dissociate from any political expressions! Carpe Noctem stands for Misanthropy, Atheism, and Strength, nothing else !
